Kwekerij Verdoorn B.V. was founded in 2009 and has since been experiencing steady growth. The reasons for this is undoubtedly the high standard of quality, excellent service and our unique ability to meet short customer deadlines. Annually we grow over 500,000 perennials in containers and this number is expected to steadily increase in the coming years. In addition to our own range we also grow on request for third parties.

The propagation process

Most of our perennials are from plugs, cuttings, bare-rooted or corms, which are supplied from specially selected growers. These young plants are then potted and developed in our own green-houses to ensure the best possible start. At the right time they’re moved outside for hardening in natural conditions, providing robust plants. We use a very carefully selected custom made compost mix and a high quality pot.

The Nursery

Since July 1, 2013 Kwekerij Verdoorn B.V. has its own spacious nursery in the village Sprang-Capelle which is large enough to fulfill all future needs. The nursery comprises of a 1,5 ha container field, 1,2 ha greenhouses and a processing area. We have been MPS-ABC certified since 2021, our MPS number is 911226.
